Job Title: Remote Transaction Coordinator (100% work from home)


Location: Remote from Latin America


Position Type: Full-time


Salary: $2,000 USD/month


Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm EST


Our Client

Our client is a value-add real estate investment firm focused on acquiring Class A and B self-storage facilities in the Mid-Atlantic, Southeast and Sunbelt regions of the United States. Their mission is to aggregate a 40-50 asset portfolio with over over the next 24-36 months.


Job Overview:

We are looking for a remote Due Diligence Analyst (Transaction Coordinator) that will play an essential role in performing due diligence and disposition tasks related to various real estate transactions, including building and land acquisitions, dispositions, financings and corporate acquisitions.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage inventory and file-sharing of each deal’s transaction documents
  • Set up and maintain deal data and critical dates within Reframes online transaction management platform
  • Manage all third-party consultant engagements and applicable site visits.
  • Make recommendations to Due Diligence leads on the firms to be hired.
  • Ensure consultant deliverables are distributed on time and include required scopes of work
  • Assist in the internal due diligence phase, including taking primary responsibility for: tracking seller deliverables, summarizing service contracts and warranties, and estoppel and SNDA preparation and/or review
  • Manage the acquisition closing process:
  • Gather necessary closing support documentation and signatures/notaries;
  • Review all documentation for accuracy;
  • Manage funding requests
  • Ensure all final, executed documents are saved in the proper location;(vi)work with Due Diligence lead/title company/seller/outside counsel to finalize all details to enable timely, flawless closings
  • Helping the principals do research on comparable sales and other tasks related to managing the properties.


Qualifications, Skills and Key Competencies:


  • Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years related experience and/or training in real estate or similar transactional environment
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Adobe Acrobat, Cloud-based Apps and Internet search skills
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively (oral and written) with both internal and external colleagues
  • Demonstrated abilities to prioritize, organize, and manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines with professionalism, efficiency, and accuracy
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Proactive work ethic
  • Execute responsibilities with appropriate sense of urgency and follow-through
  • Show tact, discretion, confidentiality and good judgment in handling sensitive and confidential matters and documentation
  • Customer service mind-set and a team player mentality
