POSITION SUMMARY:
The Solutions & Implementation Engineer will be responsible overseeing the implementation, project management, and product ownership of client-facing needs, including implementations, feature requests, and Integrations/APIs. This role will ensure seamless delivery of solutions, managing all aspects of the product lifecycle, from concept through execution, to meet the strategic goals of Kimedics and our customers.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES:
Solution Delivery
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of software solutions related to client implementations, features and integrations, ensuring they meet client requirements and are delivered on time and within budget
- Partner with VP, Client Optimization for Solution Design sessions & pain point documentation
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features and enhancements
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and work with developers to ensure high-quality implementations
Project Management
- Plan, manage, and track project activities, milestone, dependencies and deliverables for implementations, new feature requests and integrations
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, executive summary and any other project related items (including training)
- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues
- Communicate project status and updates to stakeholders, including clients and senior management
- Continued process improvement looking for ways to improve go live checklists, automation and speed to delivery
- Partner with Kimedics and VP of Client Optimization to align on product requirements and project plans for all client facing solutions including implementations, new feature requests and integrations including writing detailed requirements and user stories for features
- Lead configuration of Kimedics
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients regarding implementations, product features, integrations, and APIs
- Product expert of the system to be able to interface with a variety of stakeholders including sales, customer success, architecture and development to ensure communication of the product solutions
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and ensuring the successful adoption of our solutions.
- Provide expert guidance on best practices for implementing, integrating and utilizing our products.
Solution Design
- Support sales team by completing Kimedics demos & product solutioning
- Support the product roadmap and product ownership of large-scale custom customer integrations
- Document client pain points, requirements tailored to each client
SECONDARY FUNCTIONS (IF APPLICABLE)
- May work on special projects or other duties as assigned
SUPERVISORY/BUDGETARY/EXTERNAL COMMUNICATION RESPONSIBILITY
- Communicates with external vendors and service providers as needed
QUALIFICATIONS – EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree related to Business, Computer Science, or MIS college or university degree is required
- 5+ years product or implementations/ project management experience with B2B software products, ideally related to healthcare or workforce management
- Experience working with clients in designing and executing on integrations and APIs (like Workday, Bullhorn, Salesforce)
- Agile, Scrum, and/or PMP certification preferred
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

- Strong project management experience (PMP preferred)

- Highly diligent, comfortable with ambiguity and solving complex problems, and flexible with willingness to stretch comfort
- Experience in healthcare and workforce management strongly desired to understand critical workflows of our customers
- Have a “grit” attitude fit for a startup environment
