As the SUB-REGIONAL FINANCIAL CONTROLLER (M/F/D), you will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and compliance of financial reporting and tax matters across multiple entities and jurisdictions. This role is essential to maintaining our financial health, overseeing regulatory compliance, and supporting strategic decision-making within the organization.

LOCATION: Poland (remote)


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure accurate and timely bookkeeping and reporting of financial results (statutory and corporate) for multiple entities.
  • Oversee the accounting and tax records of the company, ensuring compliance with local regulations, including timely settlements and payments of income tax and VAT.
  • Prepare financial statements in accordance with the Accounting Act and ensure compliance with IFRS and US GAAP standards.
  • Act as the company’s representative in front of tax authorities, auditors, and regulatory bodies.
  • Collaborate with the company's Management Board and external auditors to ensure transparency and compliance.
  • Monitor and manage the performance of internal and external financial service providers.
  • Serve as a key member of the regional controllership team and provide backup support for other sub-regional financial controllers.
  • Navigate within a complex multinational corporate structure, ensuring alignment with global financial policies and strategies.


SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Extensive knowledge of Polish accounting and tax regulations.
  • Strong expertise in IFRS and US GAAP standards.
  • Experience managing financial reporting and compliance for multiple jurisdictions.
  • Proven ability to engage with supervisory boards, tax authorities, and auditors.
  • Strong analytical thinking and high-level problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent command of English and Polish; knowledge of German or Czech is a plus.
  • Ability to work effectively within a multinational group and manage complexity.
