Job Description
If you have Automotive, Commercial Truck repair or insurance carrier experience, have you ever thought about how the technology you use goes into creating a proper estimate? We are looking for someone who is interested in demonstrating their experience on the back-end of the claims process and expanding on their computer skills. This means working with a dedicated team to build our estimating software using math calculations, building relationships and assigning codes to parts and labor information.
The Auto Body Tech Estimator/ Estimatics Content Specialist is responsible for:
Automotive OEM Technical Data Modeler depicts data in terms of the entities and relationships described in the data.
Editing and rewriting information found in OE, technical user manuals, data sheets and specification books
Ensures data normalization.
Structures and organizes data from the Parts and Labor group so it can be consumed by electronic products.
Build relationships between components that have commonality and deduct or add appropriate labor times for calculation per labor notes.
Builds tables for automated procedures such as component refinish, component overhaul and options.
QA’s new services or updated services prior to the data extract.
Qualifications
Minimum of 10+ years in the automotive and/or Commercial Truck collision repair industry, shop or insurance carrier (estimating, estimator)
Only Technical Automotive, Commercial Truck and/or Motorcycle Repair/Estimation experience will be considered
Adept knowledge and understanding of Estimating Overlap and P-Page logic
Hands on collision repair experience in the collision repair industry, shop, or insurance carrier.
Must have high school diploma or GED equivalent. Associate's Degree Preferred.
Demonstrated strength in vehicle damage appraisal and/or estimating
Comprehensive understanding of automotive collision repair techniques
Ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience
Proficient computer skills a
Excellent organizational and time management skills.

The expected base pay for this position ranges from $25.00 - $26.45 hourly, and will be based on a number of additional factors including skills, experience, and education.
