The O pportunity

Worldline, a global leader in payment services, is seeking an experienced Global Business Development Manager for Airlines & eTravel to drive growth and partnerships across our global footprint. This is a unique opportunity for a dynamic and skilled individual to join our high-performing team and make a significant impact in the airline payments ecosystem.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

    • Strategic Growth : Develop and execute a global business development strategy tailored to the airline sector, ensuring alignment with Worldline’s overarching goals.
    • Client Engagement : Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers at airlines, payment partners, and industry stakeholders across APAC, EMEA, LATAM, and Americas.
    • Market Analysis : Identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive opportunities within the global airline payments landscape.
    • Deal Closing : Lead complex negotiations, create winning proposals, and drive revenue by securing long-term partnerships with airline clients.
    • Collaboration : Work closely with internal teams such as sales, marketing, product development, and operations to deliver value-driven solutions.
Who Are We Looking For

    • Experience : 5-8 years of proven business development experience, preferably in the airline, payments, or travel-related sectors.
    • Global Perspective : Strong understanding of global markets with the ability to navigate cultural nuances across APAC, EMEA, LATAM, and Americas.
    • Relationship Builder : Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and inspire stakeholders at all levels.
    • Results-Oriented : Demonstrated success in achieving revenue and growth targets in a competitive and fast-paced environment.
    • Industry Knowledge : Familiarity with airline payment systems, trends, and challenges is a strong advantage.
    • You deliver optimal solutions by evaluating various alternatives and exploring adaptations of policies, procedures, and techniques to meet customer needs effectively.
Skills We Can't Do Without

    • Strong commercial drive and a solid understanding of the Airlines and eTravel market.
    • Skilled negotiator with excellent communication and presentation abilities.
    • A deep interest in team-building and collaboration to achieve shared goals.
    • An ongoing interest in the FinTech space and its applications in travel.
    • You thrive in a dynamic, multi-faceted environment, adapting quickly to changing circumstances.
    • The ability to analyze data, combine it with market insights, and develop and communicate actionable results, ideas, and strategies
    • Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM tools to effectively manage customer relationships.
