IT Operations-Project Engineer Sr

The Project group of the IT Operations Team is looking for talented, highly motivated candidates with 3+ years of IT infrastructure and cloud support. Candidates should be familiar with supporting various on-premise services as well as cloud infrastructure. This IT team is the division of Engineering that develops and maintains office networks, public cloud infrastructure, and supports observability and management systems in corporate environments to support our internal customer applications.

Responsibilities:

Build new systems and applications to support business functions.
Work with Project Management to create project plans and budgets.
Work with Stakeholders to determine project requirements.

Technical Qualifications:

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of hands-on experience of applicable products and tools and can demonstrate working knowledge of the following areas:

Proficient at using best practices for the implementation of services public cloud platforms (primarily AWS, Azure).
Knowledgeable in Automation techniques and tools using infrastructure-as-code tools and configuration management systems (Ansible, etc.).
Proficient at implementing new applications and services into an existing cloud architecture.
Knowledgeable in Security concepts and tools such as encryption (TLS, SSL, etc.), identity and credential management (IAM, Vault, SSO, etc.).
Proficient at building Highly available, secure, and scalable systems/environments.
Proficient at Troubleshooting of on-premise and cloud technologies.

Additional desirable experience and skills in the following areas:

Microsoft Sharepoint Engineering
Microsoft Azure scripting
Microsoft Identity Management (MIM/PIM/PAM)
Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

General skills:

A passion for uptime and security.
Forward thinking and keeping up with current paradigms and technologies.
Ability to work with development teams and synthesize infrastructure requirements from application needs
Ability to successfully balance multiple simultaneous demands & self-adjust to meet shifting priorities
Excellent English oral and written communication skills
Willingness to occasionally work scheduled night/weekend times
Familiarity with the security industry is desirable but not required
Other Duties as assigned.

Education:

A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a college or university degree is a plus.

This is a remote opportunity open to anyone legally authorized to work in the Philippines.
