Job Description
The Senior IT Field Services technician will be responsible for working closely with the local site managers and staff regarding all IT related issues or projects, as well they will work closely with the Properties team, Project teams, and local Trades performing IT related work at the sites. The Senior Technicians will also provide remote guidance for the site staff when necessary. The Senior required to extensively travel to auction sites, warehouses, and regional offices primarily around the US West region, but will include the US East region, Canada, Mexico, and Australia.
Responsibilities
Installation, Configuration, Maintenance, and Troubleshooting of operational hardware, software, and peripheral devices at regional locationsInstallation of network appliances based on corporate standards (routers, switches, UPS units)Coordination of all Properties activities that touch any IT service or equipmentPrimary IT contact for the sites in their region regarding projects, IT related projectionsBrokers other IT services such as Network or Server assistance as requiredMaintain Documentation IT systems and infrastructureMaintain Service Reports and Signoffs on all onsite workMaintain updates of ServiceNow tickets and work within the change control processMonitor network connectivity of servers, workstations, and other network appliancesGuidance to end users to identify and resolve systems issuesKiosks (including replacement of internal components)Operational tablet devices using WIFI (includes software updates)Mobile auction trailer equipment (includes installation and servicing all internal tech. components)Coordinates and supervises any local trades working at the site on IT related activities such as electrical or cabling vendorsAssist with the analysis of system utilization projectsPerforms regular preventative maintenance on all IT equipment at locationsProvides onsite IT presence before, during, and after auction sale daysResponsible for the condition and quality of the location’s server/telecom roomMaintenance and Testing of networking and in-building WIFI servicesSite landline data communications servicesFlexible and willing to perform other tasks as assigned
