Job Description

Job Title: Associate PS Consultant

Department & Team: CSS Professional Services

Location: Mexico

Genesys is hiring an Associate Professional Services Consultant with a passion for working with leading-edge software technologies in an international environment. If you would like to be part of a team of highly skilled consultants taking customer experience to the next level, join our PS team.

The main responsibilities include implementing the cloud solution based on the customer requirements. In this role, you will participate in all stages of the project lifecycle: Business Requirements specification and analysis, Technical Design specification, Implementation and Integration of the solution, Test Plan development, and Testing.

The position requires a good level of teamwork and the ability to relate well with Customers and Partners.

Key Responsibilities:

•             Participate in complex software solutions implementation projects on all stages of the classic project lifecycle, such as:

- Business requirements specification and analysis

- Technical design specification

- Implementation and Integration of the solution

- Test Plan development and Testing

•             Must possess good time management skills to manage multiple, disparate, and concurrent solutions engineering activities.

•             Determining customer needs and developing creative vision to resolve their challenges.

•             Demonstrate Genesys solutions and maintain proficiency in all areas of the Genesys portfolio.

•             Remain current with industry trends and competitive knowledge.

Minimum Requirements:

•             Very good interpersonal communication and presentation skills

•             Be keen to work in a diverse and multicultural environment

•             Conceptual understanding of cloud concepts and architectures (Amazon is preferred)

•             Good verbal writing skills and the ability to effectively interact with clients (business and technical audiences)

•             Bachelor’s degree in a Telecommunication/Computer Engineering/Computer Science, Computer Technology/or related discipline or equivalent professional technical experience.

•             Basic API knowledge

•             Basic development skills

Desirable Skills:

•             Formal education in Software Engineering and/or Telecommunication on a bachelor level or equivalent based on job experience

•             1+ Years of consulting experience

•             Theoretical and practical experience in the following technology areas such as:

  • Database management systems (Oracle and MS-SQL)
  • SQL language and database development
  • Computer hardware (Server hardware, storage hardware)
  • Conceptual understanding of DBMS and hardware HA concepts
  • Conceptual understanding of network security
  • Computer networks
  • Social Media
  • WEB/SaaS based solutions.
  • Modern operating systems at least Windows and Linux
  • Conceptual understanding of CRM solutions

•             Very good analytical skills to troubleshoot complex issues.

•             Good Proficiency in English (verbal and in writing).

•             Strong team player

•             Ability to relate well with customers and partners at all levels.

•             Enthusiasm to work in a diverse and multicultural environment.

•             Software design and development including basic programming knowledge in for example java, C# including Unix Shell scripting. It is a must.
