About Argent

Argent aims to be crypto’s defining company: the first to bring the benefits of self-custody to a global audience. Giving people control of their assets and identity, and helping them to enjoy new economic opportunities.

To do this we’ve built the first smart wallet. As different from traditional wallets as smart phones were to 90’s phones. Argent is easier, safer, cheaper, and greener.

With over 2m users we’re growing fast. And have raised a total of $56m from Paradigm, Index Ventures and Creandum to fuel our ambitious efforts.

We work remotely across Europe, prioritizing autonomy and flexibility. And it’s a particularly exciting time to join as we’re launching new breakthrough products on Starknet.

About the team:

The ArgentX team is a tight-knit group of 8 skilled professionals, including engineers, QA specialists, product managers, and designers. We are a senior team that balances high-quality standards—through rigorous unit testing, automation, and code reviews—while continuously shipping exciting new features. At ArgentX, you'll find a collaborative environment where you can grow, have fun, and build groundbreaking products that have never been created before.

As our Senior Frontend Engineer, you will get to:

In this role you will work on ArgentX the leading wallet for Starknet with over 2 Million deployed accounts.
Develop, design, and architect web-based applications.
Take ownership of an application development lifecycle and quickly ship features.
Ensure our software meets our strong requirements in terms of usability, security, availability and long term maintainability.
Build POC and MVP, i.e. work in an environment where product requirements are not fully defined.
You will get to work on a brand new project where you'll help translate ArgentX’s best-in-class UX into a cutting-edge mobile experience

Your experience should include:

5+ years experience developing solutions in Javascript/Typescript
2+ years of experience building cross-platform mobile apps with React Native, from concept to deployment.
Experience at building consumer-facing web decentralized apps (Dapps) in React with a keen sensitivity to design, showcasing an eye for aesthetic and user-centric design principles.
Good knowledge of blockchain specific libraries (e.g. ethers.js, web3.js)At ease with design and architecture of software and systems (e.g. Design Patterns, Secure Software Development)
Experience with agile methodologies and software development tooling and processes

You might also have:

MSc. in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
React best practices and design patterns (MVC, Flux, Redux,..)
Good knowledge of Starknet technologies, experinece with starknet.js
Open source software and contribution
