About the role:

We are seeking a Regulatory Compliance Contractor with 3-5 years experience. The position will involve engaging in regulatory activities necessary for the maintenance of existing products, as well as the development and introduction of new products for the U.S., Canada, UK, and EU markets. 

What you will do:

  • Arrange and review all product testing, both domestic and international, for: 
    • Consumable brands, including cosmetics, cleaning products, dietary supplements and foods. 
    • Hardline goods, including children’s products, art products, CE/UKCA products, food contact products, textile products and medical devices.
    • All retailer specific required testing, including production testing for specific retailer programs. 
  • Maintain and register: 
    • All new Medical Device, Cosmetic, and OTC drug registrations through FDA, including structure/function notifications for dietary supplements; 
    • New FSA/HSA eligible items; 
    • All new consumable retail products in WERCs as required for retail.
  • Maintain Energy Star registrations.
  • Attendance at weekly product development meetings. 
  • Additional Responsibilities may include: formula reviews for US cleaning products, as well as Health Canada and EU/UK, for all cosmetic products. 

Who you are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Regulatory Affairs, Chemistry, Life Sciences, or a related discipline.
  • 3-5 years of experience in regulatory compliance, preferably within consumer goods, cosmetics, dietary supplements, or medical devices.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S., regulatory requirements and industry standards for product testing, including FDA, WERCs, and Energy Star compliance.
  • Knowledge of Canada, UK, EU regulations and CE/UKCA certifications strongly preferred 
  • Experience managing product testing and registration processes for consumables and hardline goods.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, ensuring compliance across multiple product categories and regions.
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to manage multiple regulatory tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience engaging cross-functional teams.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently, maintaining a rigorous attention to detail and quality.
  • Ability to work flexible hours with overlap into European time zones.

The estimated rate range for this contract is $100 - $150 per hour. The final rate will be determined based on factors such as experience, skills, and location.
