We are seeking an experienced litigation attorney to join our dynamic Litigation Group. This role offers the opportunity to engage with complex legal challenges that demand innovative, rapid, and strategic counsel.
An ideal candidate will bring extensive experience representing technology companies with a robust foundation in litigation and dispute resolution across jurisdictions and legal contexts. Expertise in investigation and regulatory compliance is highly desirable.
About the role - you will:
- Assist in the management of litigation, disputes, and investigations encompassing areas such as intellectual property, licensing, contracts, class actions, antitrust, trade regulation, securities, insurance, data privacy, and cybersecurity and AI issues in both domestic and international venues
- Handle day-to-day issues such as responses to subpoenas, third-party demands, indemnification requests, ethics inquiries, data exfiltration, and commercial disputes
- Formulate and execute resolution strategies that prioritize Seagate’s interests, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and fiscal parameters
- Provide proactive legal counsel to business partners and the legal team to mitigate potential risks and foster compliance
- Collaborate with a cross-functional team of legal professionals, paralegals, and external advisors to deliver comprehensive legal services
- Understand Seagate’s business and have a willingness to dive into the technology and tools
About you:

- Exceptional communication and presentation skills with the ability to address executive leadership confidently, even on short notice
- Proficiency in managing external legal resources, including law firms, expert witnesses, and consultants, to optimize outcomes
- Highly organized, resilient professional capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects without compromising quality or integrity
- Ability to operate within a budget and work creatively to manage costs and maximize efficiency

Your experience includes:
- Substantive experience with litigation, arbitration, mediation, investigations, settlement; drafting, reviewing, negotiating, revising agreements; client advising
- Investigations involving antitrust, competition law, securities, international trade, export controls, anti-corruption laws, cybersecurity, data breach and data privacy
- Willingness and demonstrated ability to work with AI
- Active bar membership, with a preference for licensure in Colorado or Minnesota
- Juris Doctorate and a minimum of 8+ years in legal practice at a law firm focusing on litigation, as well as in-house legal department experience
The estimated base salary range for this position is: $137,400.00 - $200,200.00. The individual salary is based on work location and additional factors, including job related skills, experience, and relevant education and training.
