They are seeking a Full-Stack Engineer who can contribute immediately to building out our core data development and annotation collaboration platform. This role will interface directly with the co-founders and be treated as a vital part of the team. The ideal candidate is comfortable working across the stack and is excited to help shape and implement product decisions in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do

Product Development: Contribute to the build-out of our core data development and annotation collaboration product.

Frontend: Work with Next.js (v13+), React, and TypeScript to deliver responsive, high-quality user experiences.

Backend: Implement server-side logic using Node.js, tRPC, Mikro ORM (or Drizzle ORM), and PostgreSQL.

Infrastructure: Collaborate on deploying and managing services across AWS, Fly.io, and Vercel.

Collaboration: Provide clear communication and contribute productively to remote team workflows.

Strategy & Prioritization: Work closely with the founding team to refine the product roadmap and ship features in an agile fashion.

What You Need

5+ years of full-stack development, ideally having built products from zero to one.

Frontend: Proficiency with Next.js (v13+), React, TypeScript, and a solid understanding of client/server components in Next.js.

Backend: Strong experience with Node.js, tRPC (or similar), and PostgreSQL. ORM experience (preferably Drizzle) is a plus.

Tooling: Familiarity with monorepo architectures, Docker, and containerization best practices.

Bonus Skills:

Experience with AI/ML integrations, particularly OpenAI APIs.

Knowledge of fine-tuning AI models and data preparation.

Previous experience hiring/managing at least one engineer.

This is a full-time, long-term position.

The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with TLNT.

Work from home.

Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm (+/- 1 hour accepted) - PST.
