Spry Methods is on the search for a Business Architect to join our team remotely.
What Your Day-To-Day Looks Like (Position Responsibilities):
The Business Arechitect will play a key role in gathering, analyzing, and documenting user requirements to support the development of user-centric solutions. Key responsibilities include:
Collaborating with stakeholders to elicit and analyze business and user requirements.
Conducting user research activities, such as surveys, interviews, and usability testing, to understand user behavior and preferences.
Documenting findings and creating user stories, personas, and journey maps to guide product development.
Providing insights and recommendations based on user research to improve product features and functionality.
Working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between user needs and business goals.
Facilitating communication between technical teams and end-users to ensure successful project delivery.
Definition, implementation, and execution of the processes for the definition, maintenance, and conformance management of the Business Architecture.
Maintenance of the key Business Architecture deliverables.
Establishment and maintenance of contacts within business units and information system programs to understand business processes and business drivers, business requirements, solutions strategies, alternatives, etc., being considered and/or implemented.
Business Architectural leadership in the resolutions of inter-program and inter-project issues.
On-going publicity and communication of the Business Architecture both within the information systems community and the Business unit.
Ongoing research and assessment of new technology for potential use within the Business unit.
What You Need to Succeed (Minimum Requirements):
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Planning and Analysis Experience.
Proven experience in conducting user research and analyzing data.
Definition, implementation, and execution of the processes for the definition, maintenance, and conformance management of the Business Architecture.
Maintenance of the key Business Architecture deliverables.
Establishment and maintenance of contacts within business units and information system programs to understand business processes and business drivers, business requirements, solutions strategies, alternatives, etc., being considered and/or implemented.
Business Architectural leadership in the resolutions of inter-program and inter-project issues.
On-going publicity and communication of the Business Architecture both within the information systems community and the Business unit.
Ongoing research and assessment of new technology for potential use within the Business unit.
Development of the Business Architecture.
Coordinating all Business Architecture activities globally (Chief Business Architect).
Developing and Coordinating Business Architecture Plans.
Auditing compliance within the Business Architecture standards.
Serving as an advisor to senior business management on business information integration strategies.
Ability to obtain a Public Trust
Ideally, You Also Have (Preferred Qualifications):
Knowledge of usability principles and best practices.
Experience working in a government or federal IT environment.
Familiarity with tools like JIRA, Confluence, or similar project management software.
Salesforce experience.
Human centric experience design skills.
Agile Certification(s)
