About the Position


Schedule: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM PT, Monday to Friday

Location: Remote


Position Summary


The Compliance Associate will primarily be responsible for the creation, management, and storage of organizational documents and special projects to ensure accreditation and regulatory compliance readiness . The Compliance Associate will work within the scope of responsibilities as dictated below with guidance and support from our Operations and Compliance leadership teams.


Essential Functions

  • Manage and maintain document control processes and procedures. 
  • Review, proofread, and edit documents for accuracy and completeness.
  • Types and assembles letters, memos, and reports as necessary. 
  • Ensure documents follow established company formats, templates, and style guides. 
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure that all documents are up to date and accurate.
  • Serves as a liaison for Compliance department in collaboration with Business Units to create and/or update documents. 
  • Archive, retrieve, and destroy documents per company and regulatory requirements. 
  • Adapts quickly to frequent process changes and improvements.
  • Is reliable, engaged, and provides feedback as to improve processes and policies.
  • Attends all department, team, and company meetings as required.
  • May perform any additional responsibilities or special projects as required.
  • Duties and responsibilities may be subject to change based upon the needs of the department.


Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Familiarity with healthcare compliance issues, including HIPAA privacy rules & requirements
  • Familiarity with a variety of auditing & appeals processes and procedures
  • Knowledge of licensure and credentialing applications
  • Knowledge of insurance billing and processing claims
  • Proficiency in basic math and business calculations
  • Working knowledge of computer/data entry with the ability to learn new systems
  • Basic level of MS Office proficiency

Compensation Package 


Pay ranges may vary depending on location. The general annual pay range for this position is $17 - $20 per hour. Actual compensation depends on education, experience, and relevant skills.
