Position Overview
We are looking for an Account Executive ready to expand their sales career in the exciting Construction Tech space! You will represent Autodesk Construction Solutions for the assigned geography in an exciting industry! With a regional approach to selling into the construction industry, we are looking for a candidate to be the go-to resource and expert in their territory as we build net-new business and expand our existing account base.
You will report to the District Manager, Northeast. This job is fully remote but preferably located in the Northeast.
Responsibilities
Manage the sales cycle from prospect to close with experience in meeting quotas
Show potential customers the beauty of Autodesk Construction Cloud, conducting both in-person and virtual demos
Understand the competitive landscape and customer needs to position Autodesk Construction Cloud
Manage and qualify inbound leads and pipeline, with accurate responses and forecast data
Be able to work with our reseller partners to drive business through our partnerships
Minimum Qualifications
You have 5+ years of experience in transactional SaaS sales
You have experience exceeding quota
Ability to drive your own business both in your install base and net new sales
You are entrepreneurial and thrive in a dynamic environment
The Ideal Candidate
Require knowledge and experience such that the incumbent can understand the full range of relevant principles, practices, and practical applications within their discipline
Solve complex problems of diverse scope by taking a new perspective on existing solutions and applying knowledge of best practices in practical situations
Use data analysis, judgment, and interpretation to select the right course of action. Apply creativity in recommending variations in approach
Work independently, with close guidance given at critical points. May begin to act as a mentor or resource for colleagues with less experience
A seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of area of specialization; resolves a wide range of issues in creative ways. This job is the fully qualified, career oriented, journey-level position. Has a complete knowledge of company products and services
Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Networks with senior internal and external personnel in own area of expertise
Responsible for selling the company’s products or services, developing new accounts and/or expanding existing accounts
Normally receives little instruction on day-to-day work, general instructions on new assignments
