As the Manager, SEC Reporting you will be primarily responsible for preparation and filing of Stryker’s external consolidated financial statements and other public filings to regulators, such as the SEC. You will assist in analyzing financial statements, identifying key trends in the business, creating presentations for the Board of Directors or other key stakeholders and researching and advising senior management on new financial reporting and disclosure requirements.

What you will do
Lead and oversee preparation and filing of Stryker’s external financial statements and disclosures (i.e., 10-K, 10-Qs, earnings releases) and other public filings in compliance and alignment with regulatory bodies and Stryker's policies.
Perform evaluation of new disclosure requirements in partnership with the Technical Accounting team.
Assist with implementation of disclosure requirements related to Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) matters.
Perform analytical reviews of the consolidated financial statements.
Serve as a key business partner between corporate teams including Tax, Treasury, Technical Accounting and Legal.
Manage the process to obtain and review supplemental information schedules for financial statement disclosures.
Manage collection and review of non-GAAP financial measures.
Manage quarterly certifications process to support management’s assessment of the effectiveness of Internal Control over Financial Reporting and disclosure controls and procedures.
Lead quarter-end close compliance and delivery of SOX controls. Partner with Internal / External audit teams to review controls and controls documentation/evidence.
Create or contribute to preparation of presentations for the Board of Directors (including Audit Committee).
What you need
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
8+ years of relevant work experience within a large regional or Big Four accounting firm and/or public company
Experience in financial reporting/SEC reporting
Experience in generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and internal control procedures
Preferred:
CPA license, actively pursuing CPA license
Post graduate degree
$100,500 - $215,300 salary plus bonus eligible + benefits. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
