As the Director of Global Communications, you’ll be the powerhouse driving brand excellence across public relations, internal communications, social media, and content marketing. Reporting directly to the Chief Marketing Officer, you’ll shape brand perception and affinity, inspire your team, and ensure every touchpoint delivers a “wow” moment. This role is perfect for a bold leader who thinks creatively, executes flawlessly, and has a passion for building. 
 

This is a unique opportunity to grow and scale a multi-billion-dollar B2B brand with a unique story to tell. As the pioneer of ecommerce acceleration and one of the only female-founded companies in Utah, plus incredible ecommerce experts and thought leaders, we are poised to take our storytelling to the next level. You will collaborate with executives on company announcements and thought leadership pieces as well as other marketing functions to develop and execute communication strategies that support key brand moments and product launches. You will drive our share of voice across key media partners and publications, amplifying Pattern’s narrative to generate interest and consideration for our products, and fostering loyalty and love for the Pattern brand. This is a full-time hybrid role in the Corporate Marketing organization, reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer in our Lehi, UT office.

What will I need to thrive in this role?

  • A Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, or a related field is required; an advanced degree is preferred

  • Over 15 years of combined experience in communications, PR, and brand leadership roles

  • In-depth knowledge of the eCommerce and technology sector, with strong relationships with U.S. and international media, and a proven ability to manage complex communication strategies across multiple regions

  • Expertise in translating complex technology concepts into clear, compelling narratives

  • Extensive media relations experience with a strong network of press and influencers

  • Experience in creating crisis communication plans and effectively managing issues as they arise

  • Demonstrated ability to manage a global team across multiple time zones

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

What is the team like?

The team follows a hybrid work schedule, working in the office a minimum of Monday, Wednesday and Thursday with the option to work from home Tuesday and Friday.
