As a Senior Sales Engineer at Prefect, you will be the primary technical advisor for prospective enterprise customers, guiding them through the evaluation and decision-making process. Your role will be essential to closing prospective clients, and you will have a deep empathy for solving their pain points. You will lead in-depth, consultative discussions, develop proofs-of-concept (POCs), and ensure prospective clients have a thorough understanding of Prefect’s capabilities. By aligning our product features with customer needs, you will help them see the immediate and long-term value of adopting Prefect.
We look for Sales Engineers who are strongly product-focused and eager to support the sales process. You will partner closely with your AE counterpart to ensure that prospective customers are fully enabled for success.
You will report to George Coyne, our Director of Sales Engineering.

The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is ($149,000-$181,000). Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and work location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Your recruiter can share more about the salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process. Please keep in mind that equity is not included in the range provided above and will represent a significant part of your total compensation.
