The opportunity as DTC Video Editor (Motion+Editing)

Fella Health is building a world-class team.

As a DTC Video Editor (Motion+Editing) at Fella Health, you’ll work closely with our Creative Lead to deliver high-performing DTC video ads and engaging organic video content for social media, using both editing and motion design skills. You'll play a pivotal role in creating attention-grabbing videos that communicate our brand’s value and connect with our audience across platforms.

Your work will span two key areas: editing DTC ads for platforms like Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and Google, and creating organic social media videos tailored for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts. Both areas will involve analyzing performance, testing creative ideas, and continuously iterating to drive results and engagement.

This is a full-time, fully remote role, and you’ll work asynchronously in the timezone of your choice.

You’ll report directly to our Creative Lead and collaborate closely with our Head of Growth, Media Buyer, and Social Media Lead.

Key Responsibilities

Straight away

Edit and optimize DTC video ads and organic social media content:

  • DTC Ads: Take ownership of editing video ads for various campaigns, ensuring high-quality outputs that align with brand standards and drive performance.

  • Organic Content: Edit short-form videos for social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts) to grow our audience and engage followers.

  • Design & Animate Content: Produce visually stunning and engaging motion graphics and animations for digital ads and organic content, ensuring alignment with brand identity and campaign goals.

  • Analytics: Analyze the performance of both ad and organic video content across platforms. Use metrics to assess engagement and ROI, and provide insights for future strategies.

  • Optimize: Test different styles, formats, and creative approaches to discover what resonates with our audience. Apply learnings to refine future designs.

  • Test: Conduct A/B tests on video formats, styles, and lengths to determine what resonates most with our audience. Apply learnings to optimize future videos.

  • Collaborate: Work closely with internal teams to ensure video content aligns with campaign objectives, social media strategies, and overall brand messaging.

Innovate with new video formats and trends:

  • Stay ahead of trends in both paid and organic video content. Experiment with new formats, styles, and platforms to maximize impact and reach.

  • Be an early adopter of emerging video technologies and techniques that keep us at the cutting edge of video marketing.

Need to Have
  • DTC video editing mastery: You have 4+ years of proven experience as a video editor/motion designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing Meta ads for direct response & e-commerce brands.

  • Social media expertise: Demonstrated experience editing videos specifically for organic social platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.

  • Software proficiency: You are an expert at using software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop. You have a strong understanding of motion design, storytelling, color grading, and sound editing.

  • Data-driven optimization: You have a strong track record of analyzing video performance metrics and A/B testing to improve video content.

  • Entrepreneurial drive: You are creative, highly organized, detail-oriented, a great communicator and are excited by the opportunity to build something new and impactful.

  • Fluency in English: Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English.

Nice to Have
  • Experience: You’ve previously worked at a DTC company in the healthcare industry.

  • Education: You have a Bachelor’s degree in Communication or a related field.
