Overview:
The Senior Program Manager is part of the Project Management Office (PMO) and reports to the Vice President of the Project Management Office. The Senior Program Manager will be a strategic leader and change agent, driving program delivery through accurate financials, resource management, velocity, capacity, quality, and customer satisfaction. You will be a leader and a key change agent for continuing to drive the maturity of program management delivery at CIS. The Senior Program Manager will ensure that CIS leverages Agile processes, methods, and measurements in the execution of the CIS strategic initiatives.

Salary Range: $126,700 - $221,700

What You'll Do:
- Develop and execute metrics and measurements for the PMO led portfolio and successfully deliver the expected business results for the full portfolio
- Work with the Chief Product Office (CPO), Agile Program Office (APO), program executive sponsors, and business stakeholders to deliver the program commitments using metrics and measurements, obtaining feedback, and continuously applying improvements
- Responsible and accountable for the critical development aspects of the program including financials, resource management, business value, scope, velocity, capacity, quality, and customer satisfaction
- Assess and identify portfolio risks that might jeopardize successful achievement of a program, develop risk mitigation strategies, tactics, and implement risk mitigation plans
- Ensure alignment of portfolio execution with Agile best practices and continue to mature the use and adoption of Agile
- Provide input to develop and improve templates, standards, and best practices for the Program Management Office (PMO)
- Develop standards for RFI/RFP, supplier selection, and contract negotiation in partnership with Procurement, Legal, IT, and Security
- Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned
What You'll Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Business, or a related field*
- 15+ years’ experience and track record in direct program and project management
- 10+ years of leadership experience in the portfolio management function spanning enterprise-wide programs to complex Information Technology/Engineering programs and/or projects
- 10+ years demonstrated track record and understanding of Agile Portfolio Management
- Proven capabilities in managing complex portfolios and related operations
- Demonstrated experience in developing and managing budgets, doing financial projections, and tracking and assessing portfolio financials
- Experience in strategic planning, risk management, and change management across portfolios
- Excellent stakeholder and internal communication skills
- Suburb organizational skills including decision making and time management
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
It's a Plus if You Have:
- Master’s degree
- Project Management experience in cybersecurity field
- Project Management Certifications: 3+ related certifications or equivalent additional experience/education
- Proven ability to communicate and align strategies with C-suite executives, driving enterprise-wide transformation
- Proven ability to influence and make informed decisions aligned with C-suite executives and business leaders
*Additional years of relevant experience or a combination of an Associate’s degree or equivalent and relevant experience may be substituted for the Bachelor’s degree.
