ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY    

SEO Assistant Manager will work with Account teams, Creative teams, and Performance Marketing Specialists to drive not only daily account responsibilities associated with Google Search Console, Bing Webmaster Tools, and Google Analytics, and using third-party SEO tools such as Yoast, SEMRush, and Screaming Frog, but important business outcomes for SearchGuru clients.    

ABOUT THE RESPONSIBILITIES    

Reporting to the SEO Director, the SEO Assistant Manager will be responsible for determining and executing best in class SEO strategies, perform SEO audits and drive the implementation roadmap of on-page, technical & off-page optimisation, to drive key business outcomes for clients.    

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:   

  • Handle high-complexity website conditions (i.e. Google penalty, hacked, multi-country, e-commerce, multilingual, technical and heavily complicated sites). 
  • Collaborate & lead challenging client's requests professionally. 
  • Able to customize a unique plan that caters to different conditions. 
  • Train junior and senior SEO Specialists and work diligently to improve specialists' work quality. 
  • To coordinate with Managers in achieving department goals based on SWOT analysis. 
  • Assist in resource planning (manpower + project cost) internally and externally. 
  • Create SEO proposals to support sales pitching. 
  • Govern the department functions and help to push for growth aligned with internal KPIs. 
  • Constantly generate sustainable unique values & competitive advantage to the department. 
  • Envision new possibilities to increase SEO Department revenue (i.e. initiate branding activities, commercialize existing/new products) 

ABOUT YOU 

  • At least 4 years of leadership, consultative, SEO execution experience in an agency or corporate setting. 
  • Has proven SEO track record for accounts handled. 
  • Experienced in handling different types of clients, niches, and internal team issues.  
  • Passion for building long lasting client relationships across various industries and verticals. 
  • Strong analytical skills, with a data driven approach.  
  • Ability to extract trends and insights from complex data sets.  
  • Understanding of business-related concepts and the interrelationship between key metrics. 
  • Ability to commute daily to Mid Valley Office (post-pandemic) and is effective and comfortable to support Work-From-Home mode. 
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English.
