The Head of Design for Logitech G, reporting to the Chief Design Officer, leads our multidisciplinary, global design team focused on gaming.  As Head of Design for Logitech G, you lead the design of superior and innovative gaming experiences, in close collaboration with our Product Management and Engineering teams.

  • Inspire, lead and manage the Logitech G design team in a high-volume, multiple-project environment with multiple stakeholders and competing demands
  • Translate user insights into the framing of opportunity spaces and visioning of design concepts that can be designed and developed into superior user-centric experiences for our target audiences
  • Curate, create and deliver strategic, evocative, and thoughtful design concepts and presentations
  • Collaborate closely with business group teams, hardware and software engineering teams, and other teams across the company to ensure strategic alignment, a smooth product development process, and high-quality outcomes
  • Manage and support a team of multidisciplinary, global design professionals across multiple time zones while cultivating collaboration across many different working styles and perspectives
  • Proactively and strategically manage the Logitech G design resourcing and budgets in line with business and design objectives, utilizing the Logitech playbook and processes
  • Immerse in consumer and user insights and stay abreast of relevant play and gaming trends and technologies 
  • Execute on broader initiatives that drive the success of Logitech G designs
  • Participate as a key member of the Logitech Creative & Design Leadership team and collaborate closely with your peers and colleagues in the Creative & Design organization to build a strong creative and design culture, and proactively advance the tools and processes we use across design and creative workflows
  • Represent Design as part of the Logitech G Leadership Team

Key Qualifications:

For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and experiences to our team:

  • Forward-thinking and visionary design leadership, with the ability to bring ideas to fruition while meeting business objectives and design ambitions
  • At least 5 years of experience managing a global, multi-disciplinary design team, including industrial designers, user experience designers, CMF designers, and consumer insights researchers
  • At least 10+ years of professional design experience with a strong portfolio of work demonstrating your capabilities
  • Direct experience with, and a deep understanding of, the processes involved in designing for the development and manufacturing of software-enabled hardware, including constructive and innovative problem-solving with design, packaging, product and engineering teams
  • Ability to facilitate and lead design and creative processes, including brainstorming sessions, framing of opportunity spaces, and iterative visioning to generate relevant and impactful designs
  • Excellent strategic and critical thinking skills, with the ability to curate and distill diverse insights into clear, succinct, visually engaging, inspiring communication and storytelling—whether for design teams or executive leadership purposes
  • The ability to collaborate across time zones, countries and cultures with strong emotional intelligence
