Corporate Finance / Investment Analyst

About the Role

Cleantech Solar is seeking a Corporate Finance & Investment Analyst to support financial planning, investment analysis, and risk management in the renewable energy sector. This role will be instrumental in financial modeling, portfolio monitoring, investor relations, and corporate fundraising initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Industry & Market Analysis
- Develop a deep understanding of the renewable energy sector, including market trends, risks, and business opportunitiesparticularly in solar energy.
Financial Modeling & Investment Analysis
- Build and maintain financial models to evaluate potential investments, acquisitions, and project feasibility.
- Conduct market research and economic analysis to guide business decisions.
Budgeting & Portfolio Management
- Assist in budget planning and approval processes for new projects and company operations.
- Monitor the companys financial portfolio and provide regular updates to shareholders.
Investor Relations & Corporate Finance
- Prepare investor presentations and reports for senior management and external stakeholders.
- Address investor and shareholder queries related to company performance and investment risks.
- Support fundraising activities, equity acquisitions, and new project investments.
Risk Management & Credit Rating
- Work closely with rating agencies to maintain and improve Cleantech Solars credit rating.
- Lead initiatives within the Risk Management & Investment Analysis team to assess financial risks and optimize investment strategies.

Key Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
3-4 years of experience in corporate finance, investment analysis, or a related role.
Strong financial modeling (Excel), analytical, and presentation skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
Experience in the renewable energy or infrastructure sector is a plus.
