Job Description: 

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our team and help us build and maintain our data infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have experience in effective communication. They will also be self-sufficient, resourceful, and eager to learn. As a DevOps Engineer at Tactacam, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of our AWS and Lambda-based stack. Your expertise in AWS, Code Pipelines, GitHub Actions, JavaScript, and Shell scripting will be instrumental in driving our continuous improvement efforts. 

Responsibilities: 

● Design, implement, and maintain robust AWS infrastructure to support Tactacam's services and applications. 

● Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline and GitHub 

● Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline and GitHub Actions to automate software deployments and ensure code quality. 

● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize the development workflow, from code commit to production deployment. 

● Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve infrastructure issues, ensuring high availability and performance. 

● Implement best practices for security, compliance, and disaster recovery in the AWS environment. 

● Automate routine tasks and processes through scripting using languages such as JavaScript and Shell. 

● Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, recommending innovative solutions to enhance our DevOps practices.

Qualifications

Requirements: 

● Proven experience with AWS services and infrastructure management. 

● Strong expertise in setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using AWS Code Pipelines and GitHub Actions. 

● Proficiency in scripting languages, including JavaScript and Shell, for automation and infrastructure as code. 

● Familiarity with serverless architecture, particularly AWS Lambda.

● Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.l 

● Strong communication skills to effectively interact with cross-functional teams. 

● AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps EngineerAWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer) are a plus.
