Samuel Curtis Johnson Graduate School of Management:
The Samuel Curtis Johnson Graduate School of Management, as part of the SC Johnson College of Business, delivers educational programming across seven different MBA programs with the intent of developing highly successful and ethical business leaders of the future. Among the portfolio of seven MBA programs, the Johnson Graduate School of Management offers three executive MBA programs that allow professionals the opportunity to pursue an MBA while remaining engaged in their careers. The offerings include: the Cornell Executive MBA Metro NY program, the Cornell Executive MBA Americas program delivered in partnership with Queen’s University, and the Executive MBA/MS in Healthcare Leadership delivered in partnership with Weill-Cornell Medicine.
Program Coordinator, EMBA Career Development Opportunity:

The Program Coordinator, reporting to the Managing Director of Executive MBA and Alumni Career Development, manages programming and operations for the EMBA Career Development team, who serve over 550 Executive MBA students and hundreds of alumni. The Office of Career Development is a differentiator for Cornell Executive MBA programs and for Johnson College alumni.
The core responsibilities of this position include:
- Oversee logistics for career development programming and events (virtual and in-person at Ithaca and NYC campuses), including orientations, career panels, and networking receptions.
- Serve as project manager for an EMBA student-alumni mentor program and career development technology efforts including recruiting platforms (12Twenty), Canvas, and various networking databases, among others.
- Create, design, and develop marketing materials and communications for career development including presentations, email campaigns, and monthly newsletters.
- Track and report quarterly and annual program data and analytics; developing and delivering surveys as required.
- Support the execution of career and leadership coaching for students in all three EMBA programs and other College of Business alumni
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and 2 to 4 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination.
- Experience in and/or demonstrated commitment to supporting diversity, equity, access, inclusion, and wellbeing.
- Passionate about working in an organization that values and promotes diversity, equity, inclusion, anti-racism, and wellbeing.
- Ability to cultivate and develop inclusive and equitable working relationships with students, faculty, staff, and community members.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite
- Interest in working with executive MBA students and supporting their career growth
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience generating marketing materials
- Experience crafting and administering surveys; data collection and analytics
- Skilled in various technology platforms and ability to troubleshoot
- Prior experience supporting a university career services team
- This is a primarily remote role, working with and supporting a remote team. Preference for candidates based in the greater NYC area as some weekend event work at Cornell Tech campus is required, and occasional travel to Ithaca (2-3 times per year).
This is a full-time, remote position based in New York, NY. Salary to commensurate with education and experience.
