This role is based in the Tel Aviv office in Israel. We are only able to accept applications for those based in Israel and have sponsorship to live and work in Israel.

 

What you'll do at Jamf:

Security Analysts at Jamf focus on ensuring Jamf’s platform provides the best possible threat protection to customers by performing activities such as monitoring Jamf systems for new threat detections, supporting incident analysis and developing threat intelligence. At the ‘Associate’ level you will be new to the role, but have the right aptitude and a keen willingness to learn. You will be supported in your responsibilities by the other members of the highly experienced Jamf Threat Labs team providing the perfect environment to grow your expertise and career in the cyber security space.

What you can expect to do in this role:

  • Support monitoring Jamf systems for new malware and malicious activity using 3rd party and custom-built tooling (inc. use of Yara rules). 
  • Support development of Jamf’s proprietary threat intelligence. Jamf’s threat intelligence covers network, content, application and OS threat vectors. 
  • Develop skills required to perform analysis of customer detections generated by our platform (forensics); guide the incident response; provide reporting on detections. 
  • Monitor accuracy of customer detections; recommend detection changes accordingly. 
  • Build industry knowledge on the latest malware trends and OS developments.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand customer needs and feedback, integrating this input into security strategies and solutions.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned. 

 

What we are looking for:

  • Understanding of security technologies, particularly on target operating systems. 
  • Understanding of cyber security and intrusion detection. 
  • Strong technical aptitude with programming/scripting skills (Python). 
  • 4 year / Bachelors Degree (Preferred) 
  • A combination of relevant experience and education may be considered
