We’re seeking a dynamic, wildly creative Graphic Designer to join our world-class marketing team for a temporary part-time role for 4 months: 20 hours/week on a consistent schedule. The ideal candidate will create exciting, data-informed concepts with lightning speed and is a valued cross-functional teammate.
We’re looking for someone with significant experience in graphic design as well as production design. It’s an end-to-end role that offers the right candidate ample opportunity to create and produce creative that connects with key audiences and drives business results.
As a Graphic Designer, you’ll:Create high-quality and engaging content, leveraging Yardzen’s brand guidelines.Work on diverse direct-response creative projects, including social media ads, emails, landing pages, and direct mail. Work closely with external agencies on briefing, production, and QA.Ensure everything you deliver drives business outcomes.Track creative performance, strategize, and relentlessly optimize.Help manage Yardzen’s DAM and have a deep knowledge of Yardzen’s assets.Manage and prioritize the workload of producing multiple projects from concept to completion – if you’ve been part of a startup before, you know the drill.Ability to both design creative assets as well as bring them to life. For example, stand up a landing page in WordPress.Take and run with creative briefs, highlighting Yardzen’s unique brand voice and aesthetic across various deliverablesNon-negotiables:At least 5+ years of experience in graphic and production design with an excellent understanding of layout, typography, color, and photography.Experience with creative strategy and tracking creative performance.Strong video creation and editing skills, including GIF.Robust understanding of digital-first, direct-response best practice. Experience creating social media ads, website assets and email design.Expert knowledge of Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and familiarity with WordPress.An impressive portfolio that showcases your conceptual thinking, execution skills, detailed systems, and brand standard. Strong organizational and time management skills.
