What We Do
Responsible for selling investment and trust services to high-net-worth individuals and families. Develop leads primarily through networking with key centers of influence and community organizations and leaders, as well as participating in presentations and events to meet revenue goals.
HOW YOU’LL CONTRIBUTE
- Develop external leads through solicitation of attorneys, accountants and other centers of influence including community leaders and organizations to sell investment management and trust business.
- Develop business opportunities through other FAT distribution channels that may exist currently or in the future.
- Provide periodic estate planning, trust, and investment management seminars for prospects and /or professionals as appropriate to generate prospective business and referrals.
- Conduct review of prospect’s financial picture and recommend solutions to meet stated goals and objectives.
- During the sales process, provide detailed analysis of complex financial situations to propose the appropriate services to the prospective client.
- Use analytical and sales skills to relate individual customer asset situations to specific products, as well as interactive skills to comprehend prospect needs and respond with the appropriate solutions.
- Responsible for the sales process from inception through account set-up and opening.
- Identify issues and inefficiencies and recommend process improvements.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING
Required Education, Experience, Certification/Licensure
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- MBA, CFP, or CFA preferred.
- 5-7 years of trust and/or investment management sales experience with a strong background working specifically with HNW individuals and their advisors
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES (KSAs)
- Knowledge of fiduciary products and services (e.g. personal trusts, living trusts, wills, investment management, security custody, financial consulting, estate planning) is required to respond to issues that arise during sales calls.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated; self-starter
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and respond quickly to emergent problems.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

- Works on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors.
- Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
- Follows department processes and procedures and makes recommendations to these processes.
- Errors may cause significant delay of process development or problem resolution.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships within and between departments

- No responsibility for the supervision of others
- Works independently setting own priorities and objectives. Work is reviewed for soundness of judgment and overall accuracy
