As a Senior Product Manager in Ad Tech at Dotdash Meredith, you will lead a scrum team dedicated to enhancing programmatic capabilities, driving innovative monetization strategies, and improving our ad stack architecture. You will collaborate with product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders to scale and optimize our ad tech platform. Your work will directly impact critical business outcomes such as rate improvement, impression growth, and faster time-to-market for ad changes, while contributing to meaningful revenue growth and better user engagement.
We are seeking a strategic thinker with hands-on product management experience in digital advertising, preferably within native app ecosystems. You should excel in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and enjoy tackling complex challenges.
Remote or Hybrid 3x a month
In-office Expectations: This position offers remote work flexibility; however, if you reside within a commutable distance to one of our main offices in New York, Des Moines, Birmingham, Los Angeles, Chicago, or Seattle, the expectation is to work from the office three times per month.
About The Positions Contributions:
Lead a scrum team to execute the ad tech roadmap and align with business goals.
Drive programmatic integrations, including SSP/DSP partnerships and real-time optimization.
Collaborate with teams to monetize audience growth and engagement initiatives.
Develop strategies to improve rate, grow impressions per session, and maximize RPV for web and apps.
Partner with revenue, sales and campaign measurement teams to prioritize product optimizations.
Lead A/B testing to improve yield and user experience, using results to refine strategies.
Communicate progress and outcomes to stakeholders, ensuring alignment and buy-in.
The Role’s Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements:
4+ years of product management experience in digital advertising or related fields.
Strong knowledge of programmatic advertising, including SSPs, DSPs, and ad-serving technologies.
2+ years of experience with native app product ecosystems and monetization strategies.
Experience managing a scrum team and collaborating cross-functionally with other product managers.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Data-driven mindset with experience analyzing complex datasets to inform strategic decisions.
Fluency in Agile methodology and product development best practices.
Deep understanding of ad stack architecture and real-time optimization techniques.
Proven track record of driving measurable improvements in revenue, yield, and campaign performance.
Preferred:
Hands-on experience in app-specific ad products, targeting, and campaign optimizations.
Experience working closely with revenue operations, sales teams, and advertising clients.

Pay Range
Salary: $135,000 - $165,000 $130,000 - $160,000
The pay range above represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position and may change in the future. Actual pay may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Dotdash Meredith’s total compensation package for employees. Other compensation may include annual bonuses, and short- and long-term incentives.
