Overview:
In this role you will serve, develop, and mentor a subset of our Corporate Solutions Engineering team in the EMEA region. If you are excited to act as a player/coach, build a great team, and grow our business we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
Customer and Industry Insights
Coaches team to synthesize and combine various business and industry insights, global best practices, experience/case studies with countries and regions, and deep industry expertise related to customers and their competitors.
Coaches team to identify customer business requirements and matches them to product features that align closely with customer digital transformation initiatives, ensuring that the technology provided meets their specific needs.
Trusted Advisor
Leverages account information technology, industry, and business strategy to provide coaching to internal GitHub teams on customer technology profiles.
Proactively builds the team to develop broad knowledge of GitHub's product landscape in the customer's industry, as well as of business priorities.
Coaches team to act as the voice of the customer by providing insights to internal teams.
Escalates pressing issues for customers to GitHub internal stakeholders (e.g., Headquarters) to provide the appropriate solutions for the customer.
Technology Strategy Formulation
Provides analysis of overall customer situation and advises internal teams on gaps that would benefit from GitHub solutions, using a growing understanding of the business strategies that technology can support.
Drives efforts to resolve any blockers to solution implementation.
Customer Enablement

Sales Partnership
Helps the team to align and influence business partners and customer stakeholders to target a technical win and to drive solution selection. Supports team members' pre- and post-sales activities with customers. Ensures team members develop external relationships within the customer organization.
Coaches team to identify customer issues and present possible solutions.
Contributes to efforts with technical teams to solve technical challenges and pain points, as necessary.
In addition, this role has people management responsibilities including driving employee growth and development, executing projects, and managing performance.
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
7+ years experience in technical consulting, technical consultative selling, or related technical/sales/industry experience
OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field AND 5+ years experience in technical consulting, technical consultative selling, or related technical/sales/industry experience
OR Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field AND 3+ years experience in technical consulting, technical consultative selling, or related technical/sales/industry experience
OR Doctorate in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field AND 1+ year(s) experience in technical consulting, technical consultative selling, or related technical/sales/industry experience
OR equivalent experience.
3+ years project/product management or technical lead experience OR 1+ year(s) formal or informal people management experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Devops and the Software Development Lifecycle; understanding of Application Security, AI tools, and CI/CD.
