About the Role:
Brightline brings virtual and soon in person behavioral and mental health care to families, when and where you need it. We are seeking an exceptional Lead Product Design Research hybrid who will drive user understanding and craft our online member & provider experiences and contribute to designing our in-person brick-and-mortar experiences. This individual will own end-to-end designs for our product experiences directly impacting our coaches, clinicians, and families that we serve. This influential role will partner closely with other team members spanning Product, Engineering, Clinical Programs, and Marketing.

5+ years of experience designing successful digital products and design systems for consumer audiences
Experience in designing, implementing, synthesizing and championing both evaluative and generative user research
Interest in organizing and maintaining a research repository
Exceptional skills in collaboration and cross-functional partnership
Ability to comfortably navigate complex flows and uncover hidden edge cases
Outstanding written and verbal communication of design rationales and research results
Ability to size and prioritize requests and identify projects of value
Self-initiated drive to jump into all aspects of design as is critical in a start-up
A humble attitude and ability to partner collaboratively with others

At Brightline we have built a total rewards philosophy that includes fair, equitable, competitive, geo-based compensation that is performance and potential based. Our strategy is based on robust market research, including external advisory specializing in national compensation, and thoughtful input from every level of our organization. It is a combination of a cash salary, equity, benefits, wellbeing, and opportunity. In compliance with the Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the annual base salary range for applicants is $125,000-$174,000.
