The Finance Intern will be part of the Finance team. The intern will work on assigned projects in support of the Financial Planning and Analysis team. This role will provide hands-on experience, working on real-world projects with a medical software development company in an FDA regulated, fast-paced start up environment. Expected timeline for the internship will be 8 weeks.

Job Responsibilities:

Support the financial planning and analysis (FP&A) team by assisting with the forecasting process, including data gathering, analysis, and report preparation (areas of focus may include: revenue, average selling price, gross margin, and operating expenses)
Contribute to the month-end close process and gain exposure to financial reporting deliverables
Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) for key financial processes, ensuring clear documentation and promoting best practices within the finance organization
Provide general support to the finance, facilities, and procurement teams on ad-hoc projects and initiatives, as needed. This may include data entry, research, and other administrative tasks
Perform additional related duties as assigned

Skills Needed:

A creative and flexible individual who can organize and prioritize shifting demands will be able to contribute meaningfully to HeartFlow’s commercial efforts.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. PowerPoint, Word and Excel experience is also valuable, and will be considered when choosing the best applicant for this internship position.

Educational Requirements & Work Experience:

Currently pursuing or about to begin pursuit a Bachelors or Masters degree

A reasonable estimate of the hourly compensation range is $22.00 to $25.00.
