Security Awareness Process Specialist
Join a team of cybersecurity professionals and help Swiss Re to fulfil its mission in making the world more resilient. As the Security Awareness Process Specialist, you'll lead the development of Swiss Re's information security & risk awareness programme, establish a communication plan to get across security awareness topics, and coordinate proprietary trainings to educate employees on the importance of staying safe in the digital world. What's more, you'll be working in a hybrid setup, perfectly balancing work from home and the office premises.
About the team
The Chief Security Office is the focal point for all security activities across Swiss Re. We are responsible for cybersecurity engineering and operations, corporate security, governance, operational resilience, risk and compliance. We define and advance the company's security strategy. As a part of the Security Team, the Strategy & Operations Centre of Excellence (CoE) drives the Security Team's overall strategy and acts as a hub for its continuous improvement with a strong focus on culture, ambition, and directive. We're looking for a resourceful individual skilled in communications and reporting, preferably with an information security background – one who will embody the value of security culture and awareness as a whole.
In your role, you will…
- Support the development of Swiss Re's security & risk awareness programme
- Coordinate, prepare, and roll out campaigns, trainings and awareness-related activities in close coordination with other departments to increase security awareness for all Swiss Re employees
- Establish a yearly change and communication plan for security awareness topics and support the rollout of communication posts and promotions
- Coordinate and support the execution of the Phishing Awareness programme, evaluate the results and publish articles on the results and/or awareness measures of the simulated phishing attack simulations
- Assist in periodic updating of all Security trainings and regularly review all targeted security trainings in coordination with subject-matter experts
- Support the rollouts and communications surrounding targeted security trainings for specific staff and further develop the security training programme with business authorities
- Manage and ensure regular monitoring and metrics reporting on trainings
- Support your team with ad-hoc operational tasks

Your qualifications

- 0-3 years of experience in cyber security or related fields
- Passion, drive, and a belief in the value of security culture as an enabler of business performance
- Understanding of cyber security concepts and practices
- Experience with Microsoft Office and the ability to build spreadsheets and reports
- Experience in Marketing/Communication or related fields – preferably with a strong focus on IT security or equivalent background
- Must have experience with different methods of communications, such as social media, blogging, videos, online messaging, printed materials, hosted & virtual events, etc.
- Keeping the oversight and monitoring of the different cyber security related projects, campaigns and initiatives
- Ability to take the initiative, get in touch, and coordinate with stakeholders across different departments in the company – collaboration and partnering with others are a key factor to success!

- Project management experience and the ability to plan and manage an organisation-wide security & risk awareness programme
- Experience in developing and handling eLearning courses via LMS (learning management system) and handling phishing simulation platforms
