Role mission:
CUBE's Content & Editorial Operations Team is looking for a Multilingual Content Editor who will be responsible for daily updates, maintenance, and summary writing of relevant material in the Thomson Reuters Regulatory Intelligence databases (CUBE acquired this area of Thomson Reuters in January 2025!). Whilst fluency in German is required for this position, proficiency in any additional languages would be highly desirable, particularly Italian, French, Swedish and Portuguese. The editor will work as part of a global team of around 50 colleagues based in multiple locations around the world.
Responsibilities:

Content Capture and Processing
- Identifies, captures and converts source documents for Rulebooks content
- Logs work orders and work streams for Regulatory Events

Editorial Responsibility
- Summarizes Regulatory Event documents for non-English language content
- Identifies, extracts and captures event metadata, including related rules
- Updates rule text in line with amending documents

- May act as a coach/mentor for other editors
- May lead small projects or initiatives

Technical /Professional Skills & Competencies
- Understanding of requirements for summaries of all Regulatory Event types
- Ability to implement rule amendments for multiple rulebooks
- Expertise in using editorial tools effectively

What we’re looking for:
- Excellent attention to detail and a high standard of literacy
- Fluency in English and German (CEFR B2 or equivalent)
- Good translation and linguistic skills
- Impeccable timekeeping, meeting all deadlines through effective prioritisation
- Good judgment and logical thought process
- Responsible and mature approach to work
- Good organizational skills
- An interest in the regulation of financial services

Desired skills:
- Understanding of content management systems

- Strong preference for para-legal, financial/banking, or related education or experience
