Position Overview  

This position will be responsible for leading Thrive’s Enterprise Engineering and Principal Project Architect teams while continuously evaluating and enhancing processes for scale.  The objective of the Enterprise Engineering org at Thrive is to deliver Thrive engineering solutions to both support the deployment of Thrive services and meet the evolving technology need and business requirements of enterprise clients.  The ideal candidate should have the rigor to maintain process and standards while also having the experience to identify circumstances where a client’s needs take precedence.  

Primary Responsibilities  

  • Oversee multiple teams within Thrive’s Fulfillment Engineering organization, ensuring the delivery of enterprise-grade professional services and project engineering to Thrive clients.  

  • Monitor and report on resource utilization and time tracking objectives for Enterprise Engineering team  

  • Serve as a management escalation point  

  • Collaborate with functionally adjacent teams within Thrive on process design and efficiency enhancements  

  • Build and maintain a positive team culture focused on enriching the client experience  

  • Build and maintain a management structure focused on accountability and perpetual improvement of processes and standards  

  • Hire, train and mentor Enterprise Engineering Managers and Principal Project Architects  

  • Effectively communicate with Sales, Account Management, Solution Architects and Project Managers to explain project process, statuses, requirements, etc.  

  • Perform managerial and administrative responsibilities including client service escalations and  PTO/expense reviews and approvals   

Qualifications  

Minimum  

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.   

  • 3-5 years management experience  

  • Advanced experience (4+ years) across the following technologies and scenarios:  

  • Microsoft 365 Suite of Services  

  • Public Cloud, specifically Azure Infrastructure  

  • Private Cloud, specifically VMWare hypervisors  

  • Experience in large scale migration and/or consolidation efforts for enterprise clients, specifically business carve-outs, mergers and acquisitions  

  • Experience implementing Managed Service and Information Technology solutions  

  • Expert understanding of cloud computing, networking, cyber security concepts and best practices  

Preferred  

  • 1-2 years experience using ServiceNow (or other project management software)  

  • 4+ years experience implementing, supporting and/or managing network Infrastructure, primarily Fortigate firewalls and Meraki cloud solutions  

  • Experience in ITIL methodology and change management processes
