We invite a Middle Project Manager to join the VeliPlay product team.

Housed within the innovative umbrella of VeliTech, VeliPlay is our dedicated game development studio specialising in crafting exceptional crash games and more. We’re committed to delivering cutting-edge games that engage players with outstanding mechanics and envelop them in rich, immersive narratives.

In this role, you will:
  • Lead the development of new game projects from concept to launch, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget;
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and user needs, ensuring the product is positioned for success;
  • Generate and propose new ideas to improve product efficiency and competitiveness;
  • Analyse, understand, and document project requirements, offering feasible solutions within technical and budgetary constraints;
  • Ensure the highest quality standards for the game, including gameplay, graphics, sound, and user experience;
  • Ensure basic understanding of databases and project technologies for effective communication with technical teams;
  • Work closely with development team before and during the sprints to ensure that they understand the vision of the product and are designing great effective solutions;
  • Be responsible for the certification process, aligning key understanding between the development and audit teams, and building clear and neat workflow;
  • Plan team tasks and releases based on capacity, develop realistic project schedules, and monitor their implementation to ensure timelines are met;
  • Inspire and motivate the development teams to deliver innovative and exciting solutions with an appropriate sense of urgency;
  • Adapt quickly to changes in project requirements or the business environment without compromising project outcomes;
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders to align objectives and effectively communicate them to the teams;
  • Responsible to translate the business vision and goals to a clear backlog for the teams and provide business reasoning for each item;
  • Advocate for the player experience, ensuring the product meets and exceeds user expectations;
  • Track and analyse product performance metrics, making data-driven decisions to optimize and improve the game;
  • Document decisions and meeting minutes in a clear and concise manner;
  • Take full responsibility for customer relationships, serving as the interface between the company and clients;
  • Implement customer account plans and marketing activities (top lobby, etc.);
  • Communicate project performance and efficiency to partners;
  • Support the timely and successful delivery of gaming solutions aligned with customer needs and objectives;
  • Addressing and solving problems related to the team or customer.
Skills and experience you will need:
  • 2+ years of experience as PM in Game Dev;
  • Ability to distinguish business goals and priorities, dividing requirements by POC, MVP, and next versions;
  • Experience with User stories creation, Story mapping;
  • Ability to move projects forward with little direction;
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills;
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills, high attention to details;
  • A problem solver — highly inventive thinker that will provide insightful, innovative solutions to any problem;
  • Proven experience in creating roadmaps, charts, and reports for project visualization and management;
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Agile, Scrum, and Kanban methodologies;
  • Proficiency in using project management tools and wiki systems to organize and document project information;
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with various project stakeholders;
  • Data visualization expertise, including the ability to create mock-ups, wireframes, use case diagrams, and prototypes;
  • Experience in project scope decomposition and estimation;
  • High-level understanding of team composition and how to build an effective project team;
  • Ability to review UI/UX designs, evaluate them against requirements, and suggest corrections when needed;
  • Strong understanding of business flows, processes, and their purposes;
  • Experience in managing Change Requests and risks associated with projects;
  • Ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously;
  • Proficiency, experience in writing project documentation;
  • Experience in developing practices and guidelines;
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate cross-functional teams and ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and effectively;
  • Deep understanding of the gaming market, industry trends, and game development processes — to support the team in developing features and content.
