We are looking for a Head of Engineering for Mobile to lead our Mobile Pillar at OLX. This position is based in Portugal, with the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere in Portugal or from our Lisbon office.
Reporting to the VP of Engineering, you will lead and support a diverse team of Engineer Managers within the Mobile community. You will work closely with other Heads of Engineering and Heads of Product to align on business goals and ensure that the Mobile team’s work supports broader company objectives.
As the Head of Engineering for Mobile, you will oversee an end-to-end channel, collaborating with multiple business teams to ensure mobile product development aligns with strategic business priorities. The role requires a balance of deep technical expertise and exceptional interpersonal skills, as you will manage technical delivery and team development while driving innovation and performance in mobile solutions.
You will co-lead the product development teams with the Head of Product, forming and continuing a technology strategy and architecture vision specifically for mobile platforms. You will also oversee the day-to-day delivery of your teams, help foster the OLX engineering culture, scale the team, and work with your peers to ensure business success.
