Working Title: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

FLSA Status: Exempt

Posting Salary Range: $180,351 to $307,661

Office Location: Remote in North Carolina, applicant must reside in North Carolina

What We’re Looking For

Trillium Health Resources has a career opening for a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our Executive Team at Trillium. This position has a key role planning, guiding, and directing financial decisions for Trillium.  Additionally, this role reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and oversees two major business functions which include Finance and Medical Economics. The CFO directs, monitors, and contributes to the short and long-term priorities of the organization. By integrating the strategy, priorities, resources, and operations of those areas, the CFO drives Trillium toward short and long-term sustainable improvement of the health for members covered by Trillium.

On a typical day, you might:

  • Work on strategic planning and implementation of work required to meet all DHHS and accreditation requirements.  
  • Ensures unit goals and objectives are being met and are in alignment with Trillium’s strategy.
  • Engage in audit activities, budget planning and oversight.
  • Work to develop & implement new programs and initiatives that will assist Trillium Health Resources in attaining goals and address federal, state or other regulations and/or requirements.

Qualifications: 

Education: Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance and must include 18 semester hours of accounting coursework from an appropriately accredited institution.

Experience: Minimum of seven (7) years of progressive accounting experience and financial management to include six (6) years of supervisory experience and four (4) years of experience in a managed care health plan setting.

License/Certification: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred. 

Must have a valid driver’s license

Must reside in NC to be considered for remote status. Must be able to travel to a Trillium office location and within catchment as required.
