Job Summary

Cogent Labs is looking for a Product Designer (UI/UX) with 4+ years of relevant experience to help us drive Customer Experience success by applying human-centered design principles. In this role, you will transform brand value and strategic insights into compelling design solutions, effectively addressing both customer needs and business objectives.

Successful candidates will join a highly skilled team, with the opportunity to design, build, test, and deploy high-quality products, and contribute to the processes and practices that make for a fun and effective engineering team.

Responsibilities

Work with cross-functional teams to create innovative digital products, including interfaces, design systems, and prototypes.
Ensure high-quality, user-friendly designs while presenting and refining concepts with stakeholders and the Design Lead.

Required skills

At least 4 years of experience in a UI/UX design role.
A strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in visual and UX/UI design.
Act as an advisor to business and technical stakeholders, on design practices that demonstrates value to our customers.
Ability to plan long-term while assessing value, risks, and business outcomes.
Proficiency in using Figma and its component library capabilities.
Expertise in developing creative design solutions for responsive web platforms.
Experience in hands-on UX (user flows, information architecture, user testing, etc.)
Fluency in English, with a deep understanding of Japanese B2B practices and culture.
