Responsible for helping Deluxe to grow our B2B Payments. The Consultant will assist the Deluxe client executives throughout the sales cycle including, but not limited to, participating in demand generation activities such as webinars and trade shows, helping to develop a strategy on how to position the services based on the prospect’s value proposition, presenting the services offering to the prospect, providing answers to technical questions, helping create a pricing proposals, and assisting the prospect in building a business case to utilize the Deluxe offering. They will also partner closely with the product management team to deliver client/prospect feedback and help guide overall product strategy.
Provide solution and technical sales support to Deluxe sales team for B2B Payments solutions. Engage with prospect to understand their priority needs, and customize demonstrations and presentations based on the value proposition to the prospect.
Ensure prospect/client technical and product questions and concerns are fully addressed.
Create and maintain presentations and demonstrations for B2B Payments offerings based on Deluxe’s value proposition and competitive advantages.
Assist sales representative and configurations in the creation of a solution proposal for prospect. If required, work with sales and prospect to develop a business case to help prospect justify the purchase of Deluxe products and services.
Keep sales team up to date on latest solution and service advancements and the competitive environment.
Partner with necessary parties to validate we can deliver on the proposed solution. Share relevant information about prospects requirements with the Professional Services implementation team.
Share information gained from engaging prospects and clients with Deluxe product management, marketing, and professional services to help us improve our future solutions, services and positioning.
Represent Deluxe B2B Payments offerings at trade shows and conferences.
Partner with product management to deliver client/market feedback to help guide overall product strategy
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years’ of experience or High School and 7+ years of experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience or HS and 9+ years of experience
Subject matter expertise within payments, ideally having either worked in payments or in treasury management.
Strong technical acumen in being able to translate complex client requirements into business cases and technical specifications.
Client centric communication style and ability to speak with both technical and executive levels of management.
Proven ability to sell or provide sales support for complex offerings for the financial services industry.
Additional Basic Qualifications:
Must be 18 years of age or older
Compensation
The compensation range for this position is $100,000.00 - $110,000.00 annually. This position will be eligible for commission or an annual performance incentive plan. The base pay actually offered will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, location, experience and take into account internal equity.Benefits
