Oticon Inc, seeks a motivated, results-driven, energetic, and collaborative Sales Representative to join the Government Services team. The primary role of the Government Services Sales Representative is to achieve/exceed the revenue and market share goals established by Oticon throughout their area of responsibility through excellent selling skills, exceptional product training and a best-in-class customer experience. The Government Services Sales Representative will accomplish these goals through collaborating with the Sales Leadership, and Account Managers to support customers targets, develop sales and training plans or material, and conduct sales visits and trainings to accomplish the goals.
Responsibilities:
- Align overall sales and training activities in coordination with the Government organization to ensure the company and customer objectives are met.
- Manage the sales and training activities to meet or exceed sales targets as established by the Sales Director by growing new business and maintaining existing customers.
- Partner with Account Managers and Clinic Support Audiologists to maximize sales efficiency and territory results both through independent visits and co-visits.
- Collaborate with the various Government sales and audiology resources to reinforce the benefit of our leading technology and services.
- Review and analyze financial data to better understand the state of the business and achieve sales and revenue goals.
- Develop and implement new sales initiatives, strategies, and programs to capture key targets.
- Develop and implement a strategic call plan per customer with the goal to increase sales and account penetration for various Government accounts.
- Implement all steps of the selling process and communicate product information in a convincing and beneficial manner to customers.
- Provide initial training and follow-up visits to improve counseling, fitting, and fine-tuning for advanced Oticon products.
- Design and deliver workshops and seminars on advanced audiological topics.
- Participate in national and regional seminars, as well as sales conventions to promote relationships and skill development.
- Establish and maintain strong professional relationships with internal partners and external customers.
- Work in a collaborative environment to build strong team relationships and openly share and listen to best practices to drive sales.
- Assist with ongoing maintenance and growth of VA Community Care Network providers through consistent outreach and trainings.
- May perform miscellaneous tasks/projects as directed by manager.
Qualifications:

- A Master’s degree or higher in Audiology is required
- 5+ years’ clinical experience and demonstrated success selling in the hearing healthcare field is preferred
- Demonstrated ability to work with and through others effectively
- Ability to travel nationally up to 80% of your time; overnights and air travel are expected based on geography.
- Proven experience with public speaking and able to confidently present to large groups
- This position also requires excellent verbal communication skills with colleagues, the ability to meet deadlines, and the ability to work independently.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks independently and complete within tight deadlines
