The Opportunity – What You’ll Be Doing

As a Shipping Coordinator, you’ll be at the heart of our global logistics operation, ensuring our products move smoothly from factories to customers worldwide.

With our continued growth, we’re looking for a proactive and organized Shipping Coordinator to join our Shipping Team in Hong Kong, reporting to the Shipping Officer.

Key Responsibilities:

🚢 Global Shipping & Freight Coordination

Plan and coordinate shipping schedules based on customer orders and delivery deadlines.
Accurately record shipment details in Navision (ERP System) to ensure smooth logistics tracking.
Assist vendors with shipping bookings and monitor progress to ensure on-time delivery.
Present cost-saving strategies to optimize LCL (Less-than-Container Load) shipments.
Follow customer shipping guidelines and issue clear shipping instructions to vendors.
Track vessel movements and proactively manage potential delays, escalating any issues to the HK Supply Chain Team.
Work closely with the Shipping Officer to prepare and submit shipping documents on time to avoid penalties.

📦 Freight Forwarder & Vendor Management

Communicate with customer-nominated freight forwarders to resolve booking and documentation issues.
Ensure vendors have completed bookings to generate shipping orders and meet deadlines.
Identify and resolve shipment problems quickly in collaboration with the Shipping Officer and Supply Chain Team.

📊 Reporting & Compliance

Supply accurate shipping data for KPI tracking and performance reporting.
Maintain compliance with international shipping regulations, customer requirements, and company policies.

🛠 Problem-Solving & Continuous Improvement

Identify inefficiencies in shipping processes and suggest improvements.
Collaborate with internal teams to enhance logistics operations and meet customer expectations.

What You’ll Bring to the Team

✅ Experience in shipping, logistics, or supply chain coordination (ideally within wholesale, retail, or manufacturing).
✅ Knowledge of international shipping, freight forwarding, and customs documentation.
✅ Proficiency in Navision (ERP) or other ERP / shipping management software, plus strong Excel skills (Intermediate-Advanced).

✅ Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple shipments at once.
✅ Strong communication skills in English & Cantonese/Mandarin (written and verbal).
✅ Attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset—you anticipate issues before they arise!
✅ Ability to work independently, while also collaborating closely with vendors, freight forwarders, and internal teams.
