Job description

This is a remote position.

Monday-Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (Chicago CST) with 1 hour unpaid break - 8 paid hours per day

Position Overview
As the Marketing and Graphics Designer, you will be responsible for producing high-quality, visually appealing marketing materials that align with our brand identity. You will collaborate with the BDM to develop presentations, slicks, videos, and other custom collateral that resonate with potential clients and help grow our business. You will also manage and optimize our social media channels, ensuring consistent messaging and an engaging presence across all platforms. You will be an integral part of the team, contributing to both the visual and strategic aspects of marketing initiatives.


Key Responsibilities
  • Design Marketing Collateral: Create engaging presentations, brochures, one-pagers, case studies, social media graphics, infographics, and other marketing materials that align with company objectives.
  • Brand Consistency: Ensure all marketing materials and assets adhere to the company’s branding guidelines, maintaining a cohesive look and feel across all platforms.
  • Digital & Print Media: Design both digital and print media to support sales and marketing campaigns, website content, and social media efforts.
  • Presentation Decks: Collaborate with the BDM to design and refine customized sales presentations and decks, ensuring they are visually engaging and communicate key messages effectively.
  • Video & Multimedia Support: Assist with video production, editing, and creating multimedia content for client-facing materials, internal use, and social media channels.
  • Marketing Campaign Support: Help design visuals for marketing campaigns, email newsletters, and other promotional activities.
  • Social Media Management: Develop and execute social media strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, and leads across platforms like LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram.
  • Create and schedule regular social media posts, leveraging industry trends, company updates, and customer success stories.
  • Monitor engagement and respond to comments and messages in a timely manner.
  • Analyze social media performance and adjust strategies accordingly to improve reach and engagement.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, operations, and leadership, to ensure all marketing efforts align with overall business goals and objectives.
  • Data & Analytics: Work with the BDM to assess the performance of marketing materials and social media efforts, using feedback and analytics to continuously improve.


Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional experience in graphic design, marketing design, or related fields.
  • Prior experience in supporting business development and marketing teams is a plus.
  • Proven experience managing social media channels for a business or organization.
  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects, etc.).
  • Experience designing PowerPoint presentations and decks (advanced skills in PowerPoint are preferred).
  • Knowledge of video editing, motion graphics, and animation (Premiere Pro, After Effects, etc.).
  • Ability to create both print and digital marketing materials (brochures, flyers, banners, social media posts, etc.).
  • Experience with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of UX/UI design principles is a plus.
  • Experience with content management systems (WordPress, etc.) and email marketing platforms (HubSpot, MailChimp) is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint and Word, to create presentation decks and documents.
  • Experience in Graphic Design, Marketing, or a related field. (Preferred)
  • Experience working in an IT or technology-driven company is a plus. (Preferred)
  • Strong portfolio showcasing graphic design skills, past marketing collateral projects, and social media campaigns. (Preferred)
