About the role:
The Implementation Specialist role focuses on onboarding partners in outdoor recreation industries by ensuring seamless technology integration. Key responsibilities include understanding client needs, managing guest and booking information migration, and configuring platforms to support operational efficiency. The position requires proactive user training and technology adoption strategies across diverse sectors like fishing, hunting, and wildlife tours.
Responsibilities:
Lead and interact directly with new partners through the onboarding process and for existing guides, ensuring a smooth and efficient transition to the client’s platform.
Work within the customer success team to collaborate with sales to gather client requirements and tailor the implementation process to meet their unique needs.
Meet or exceed data migration objectives for initial stages of implementation to ensure 100% adoption from the first day of launch, proactively addressing any technical or operational issues.
Develop technology-driven onboarding support and conduct comprehensive training sessions (internal and external) to ensure partners and their teams fully leverage the client’s technology for all of their trips and bookings.
Document, measure and refine implementation processes to improve efficiency continually and enhance partner satisfaction.
Act as a liaison between partners and internal teams, ensuring that feedback is communicated and integrated into product enhancements.
Stay informed on industry trends and technological advancements to improve the implementation experience continually and efficiency.
Requirements
Experience:
2+ years of experience in customer success, onboarding, implementation, or a related role, preferably in a SaaS or technology-driven environment.
Proven track record of managing client onboarding processes and driving high adoption rates.
Experience with data migration, technical troubleshooting, and CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) is a plus.
Skills:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with partners.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to proactively address technical or operational challenges.
Proficiency in conducting training sessions and creating onboarding materials (e.g., guides, videos, webinars).
Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, Jira) and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Basic understanding of APIs, integrations, and software implementation processes is preferred.
