We are looking for a Junior Compliance Officer to join our client's team.
ABOUT OUR CLIENT
Our client is a fully-fledged professional services firm working on specific business units in the areas of finance, corporate, tax, legal, and gaming, and is located in Naxxar.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Client Onboarding: conducting due diligence checks, risk assessments and ensure adherence to AML/CFT requirements on an ongoing basis.
Support Senior Compliance Officer and MLRO with any regulatory filings.
Ensure that the internal compliance system is kept abreast and updated at all times.
Monitor client files and carry out file reviews on an ongoing basis.
Stay updated with Maltese compliance regulations and guidelines ensuring the company adapts to any changes.
EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
At least 1 year experience with a Maltese licensed CSP.
Knowledge and familiarity with the Maltese CSP legislation and Rulebook including MFSA guidelines and FIAU reporting.
Knowledge of Inscope tool is considered an asset.
A good level of written and spoken English.
Sharp attention to detail
Work ethic: ability to handle confidential information and work independently as well as in a team.
EDUCATION
A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
WORKING TIME
Flexibility in starting time, from 07:30 till 09:30, 40 hours per week with 30 minutes break.
