What We're Looking For

We are looking for a Senior Data Scientists to join our team of Data Scientists. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the personalization of our successful website for stock market investors. Personalization is the core of our ongoing site redesign and is needed to drive both the user experience, marketing, and subscriber engagement. You will work closely with data analysis and data engineering teams to leverage personalization to enhance the company’s growth.

What You'll Do

Goals:  

• Growth through Personalization: The ultimate goal of the Senior Data Scientist is to leverage personalization to enhance the company’s growth by improving the conversion rate of those in free or paid trial, and boosting the renewal rate of paying subscribers. This includes optimizing the current product and introducing new personalized features or functionality in partnership with the Product team.
• Immediate Impact and KPI Improvement: Make an immediate impact on the business by developing and implementing advanced data science models and techniques, aimed at improving KPIs

How you will be measured: 

• Your success will be measured by increases in user engagement, leading to higher retention and trial conversion rates, as a result of your personalization projects.

Requirements

Experience and Qualifications:

• Advanced degree and commensurate experience in Machine Learning and Data Science.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Data Science, with a strong focus on developing and deploying advanced personalization algorithms in a dynamic business environment.
• Proven track record of using Data Science for website personalization and targeting.
• Experience in implementing data science models and creating pipelines for these models in production environments, preferably using AWS or SageMaker.
• Advanced Python skills and SQL knowledge.
• Excellent English communication skills are essential, both written and verbal.
• Direct familiarity with stock market investing: a plus.
• Experience with data analysis and data visualization: a plus.
