Job Description:
Serves as HPE Services Hybrid Cloud Support Program Manager for HPE Storage/Hybrid Cloud New Product Introduction, feature addition/modification, sustaining, and other related projects. Owns management, monitoring, and articulation of Hybrid Cloud Support processes and deliverables, to align with Hybrid Cloud Support, Storage and Hybrid Cloud product, the broader Services/Operations organization, and other HPE processes and business outcomes.
Note: Experience with release of hardware, software, and integrated solutions is highly desired.
Responsibilities:
Acts as PM/representative for Hybrid Cloud Support in relevant projects, as assigned. Represents Hybrid Cloud Support in regular NPI/feature/sustaining project meetings.
Ensures timely completion of critical Hybrid Cloud Support processes, such as Supportability assessment. Manages dependencies, gaps, and progression toward schedule. Escalates as needed to mitigate or overcome challenges.
Ensures alignment of Hybrid Cloud Support processes, time lines, and expectations with other Services, Support, and HPE frameworks and processes, such as product lifecycle management. Identifies inconsistencies and gaps, and works with constituent teams to resolve.
Manages engagement with OEM, partner, or other external groups, in order to enable design and implementation of support processes, tools, and other requirements.
Leads or contributes to process and experience improvement efforts.
Creates and delivers status reports as required by the project team and Hybrid Cloud Support or Services, at checkpoints and ad hoc.
Reviews and contributes to creation/management of requirements, such as Marketing and Business Requirements.
Ensures precise and timely communication between Hybrid Cloud Support teams and with other HPE stakeholders, such as tools teams.
Maintains Hybrid Cloud Support dashboard/view of NPI/feature/sustaining efforts. Creates or contributes to other Change Management processes and deliverables.
Works closely with Hybrid Cloud Support SMEs and management to define internal NPI/feature/sustaining processes. Identifies inconsistencies and gaps, and works with constituent teams to resolve.
Creates and owns associated Hybrid Cloud Support business process collateral, such as workflows and project templates.
Other relevant project management duties or responsibilities, as needed.
Education and Experience Required:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science, engineering, or related field of study.
5+ years as a professional Project Manager, preferably in an enterprise technology company
8+ years of relevant work experience. Preference given to experience with an enterprise Support/Services organization.
Understanding and knowledge of the storage or clous services industries.
PMP certification preferred.
Knowledge/Skills/Competencies:
- Experience with OEM and other third-party relationships is highly desired.
Teamwork skills and experience to lead/drive teams to achieve results for complex, ambiguous, and time-sensitive projects.
Demonstrated ability to work with global teams and all levels of leadership.
Sufficient technical knowledge of storage to allow collaboration with technical experts
Strong language skills to document and communicate all aspects of projects to internal and external customers, suppliers, and associates.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint.
Ability to use online project/planning tools, such as Smartsheet or Sharepoint.

USD Annual Salary: $101,900.00 - $234,500.00
