Job Summary

Rynoh is a wholly owned subsidiary of Porch and provides a SaaS solution to the Title and Escrow segment of the real estate market.  Our software is used to protect nearly 40% of all real estate transactions in the United States, an unprecedented achievement. Our ambitious plans require us to continue our journey of being the best technology and service provider in the industry. We are seeking a highly motivated, highly organized professional to join our team.  The ideal candidate will have a mix of interpersonal, technical, and managerial skills to help us implement complex solutions for our clients.   

The Senior Product Owner reports directly to the Head of Product and is a critical member of the team responsible for building and implementing a long-term, strategic, product roadmap for Rynoh.   This high impact role works with existing clients, partners, engineers and other internal stakeholders to fully understand how our clients use our products and how we can improve their experience.   The role executes a vision by providing clear direction to engineering teams and manages the work to build and implement truly exceptional software that our clients love.

  

What You Will Do As A Senior Product Owner

  • Defines a clear articulation of the value proposition at a product and feature level.
  • Conducts analysis to understand and document competitive drivers and competitive value positioning Works with stakeholders (clients, integration partners, internal team members) to evaluate problems and provide recommended solutions. 
  • Debate and obtain consensus, document, and build detailed business requirements. 
  • Collaborate with engineering teams constantly to ensure all issues are resolved, questions answered, and that the product delivered conforms to the request. Builds a product strategy that fully considers impacts of technical trends and competitive changes on the roadmap.
  • Collect and use persona-based behavioral data to inform product design.
  • Become the subject matter expert for Rynoh suite of capabilities. 
  • Demo product enhancements to obtain pre-release feedback.
  • Ensure the engineering team is fed with detailed requirements, epics and stories.
  • Manage priorities and participate in all agile ceremonies including backlog grooming, sprint planning and quarterly PI planning exercises.
  • Deliver major, complex features each sprint having multiple dependencies. 
  • Act as clear owner for delivery.  
  • Liase with sales and marketing to describe and launch new releases and communicate feature set improvement.

  What You Will Bring As A Senior Product Owner  

  • At least 5 years’ experience designing and delivering SaaS products having a specific focus on the real estate segment.
  • At least 3 years’ experience focused on delivering title and escrow closing and funding products.     
  • Experience with title production systems such as SoftPro, RamQuest, ResWare, etc.
  • Ability to rapidly learn and demonstrate proficiency with complex, interrelated product and service offerings.
  • Ability to demo new modules or features to clients and other stakeholders to solicit feedback and ideation.
  • Ability to build a prioritization framework to evaluate conflicting priorities.    Ability to articulate how prioritization decisions are made.
  • Ability to foster collaboration through oral communication and written documentation.   Effectively use meetings to drive clear direction and eliminate rework.
  • Ability to fully understand business processes and document development requirements.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to present product designs and roadmaps to senior leaders.  
  • Desire and ability to remain in constant contact with engineering staff
  • Demonstrated advancement through software engineering functions.
  • Willingness to roll up your sleeves, learn, and get the job done.
  • Proficiency with product management tools such as Jira, Miro, Confluence, or Asana.
  • Certifications such as CSPO, Pragmatic PMC, SAFe POPM

What You Will Get As A Porch Group Team Member 

Pay Range*: $134,300 - $196,000 Annually

*Please know your actual pay at Porch will reflect a number of factors among which are your work experience and skillsets, job-related knowledge, alignment with market and our Porch employees, as well as your geographic location.  
 
Additionally, you will be eligible to receive long-term incentive awards, subject to program guidelines and approvals.
