**This is a remote role where candidates can reside anywhere in the United States.**

Position Purpose: Responsible for facilitating the development, deployment, and monitoring of strategic goals across Centene's lines of business products (Medicaid, Medicare, and Marketplace) and shared services in the organization. Strategic thinking with expertise seeing the big picture, understanding the healthcare industry and Centene's business products, root-cause analysis, building business partnerships, and the ability to influence progress within other areas of the organization. Partner with executive leadership across Medicaid, Medicare, Marketplace, shared services, health plan markets and IT to drive organizational strategic goals utilizing a metrics-based approach to ensure alignment and deliver on measurable business outcomes. Lead using excellent problem-solving skills and a deep understanding of strategy deployment.

  • Strategy Development & Deployment. Partners with senior leaders on: the development of Centene’s major lines of business products (Medicaid, Medicare, and Marketplace) strategic plans and goals; the root-cause analysis to identify strategic drivers of progress using an analytical and metric-based mindset: the development of a strategic initiative portfolio to drive strategic plans and goal progress.
  • Cross-functional collaboration and change management: Facilitate the appropriate communication and collaboration of the strategy deployment process across business products (Medicaid, Medicare, and Marketplace) and shared services to ensure the development of shared services goals and initiatives that support these business products (Medicaid, Medicare, and Marketplace) strategic plans and goals.
  • Relationship building: Develop strong relationships with leaders across business products (Medicaid, Medicare, and Marketplace) and shared services to be a value-added partner in the facilitation of the process.
  • Ability to influence, manage, and drive progress outside of direct reporting lines: Manage the strategy deployment process and the expectations and deadlines with business products (Medicaid, Medicare, and Marketplace) shared services leaders.
  • Prioritization and Governance of Initiatives: Support the business products (Medicaid, Medicare, and Marketplace) shared services leaders as they manage the process to prioritize, fund, and monitor the progress of their goals and initiatives.
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Complies with all policies and standards

Qualified candidates should have Medicare, Medicaid, and/or Marketplace experience to support Centene's line of business.

Education/Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Management, Finance, Healthcare Administration or a related field required:
MBA, MHA or MPH preferred:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Exceptional leadership skills, with a proven ability to motivate, influence, and drive cross-functional collaboration.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • In-depth understanding of strategy deployment and change management principles and practices.
  • Strong business acumen, knowledge in healthcare and a results-oriented mindset.

Pay Range: $145,100.00 - $268,800.00 per year

Centene offers a comprehensive benefits package including: competitive pay, health insurance, 401K and stock purchase plans, tuition reimbursement, paid time off plus holidays, and a flexible approach to work with remote, hybrid, field or office work schedules.  Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law.  Total compensation may also include additional forms of incentives.
