This is a hybrid leadership role encompassing both People Operations and Recruiting, with a strong emphasis on technical recruiting to support our rapid hiring needs in engineering. You will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable people processes, optimizing recruiting operations, and ensuring our talent strategy aligns with Step’s ambitious growth goals.
You will be a force-multiplier who enables all other functions at Step to capitalize on centralized standards and resources that support our most valuable resource at Step: our people. You are extremely process-driven, detail-obsessed, and employee experience-focused. You have experience building a team and process from scratch. You hold yourself and others on your team to a very high standard of delivery, and you value partnership and stakeholder engagement along the way.
As the Head of Recruiting, you will lead all aspects of talent acquisition, from strategy development to execution. You will partner closely with leadership to hire top talent while also ensuring hiring excellence across all functions.
As the Head of People Operations, you will establish the frameworks, systems, and policies that enable our employees to do their best work. From onboarding to employee engagement, you will drive initiatives that elevate Step’s culture, performance, and long-term talent strategy.
